Emmerdale viewers will be delighted to know a blast from the past has returned to the soap.
You likely remember Reece Dinsdale, 63, played Emmerdale baddie Paul Ashdale. The character was bumped off in 2021.
But Reece, who has also enjoyed a spell in Coronation Street, has made a number of returns to Emmerdale in the director’s chair. He’s recently worked on the Dan Spencer storyline where he potentially faces time behind bars.

Viewers will soon see Dan charged with GBH over a violent attack on villain Lloyd. The incident happened after Lloyd befriended Dan’s daughter Amelia online under a false identity.
Liam Fox, who plays Dan, said he’s enjoyed working with Reece. Speaking to Digital Spy, He said: “We’ve had Reece Dinsdale directing the last few days. He's so passionate.
