Emmerdale fans have pointed out what they think is a problem after Caleb Milligan finally discovered the truth about his son, Nicky. As viewers of the ITV soap know, Caleb is trying to fleece Kim Tate in a bid to get his hands on Home Farm.
He has used his son in his plan, with Nicky getting a job as a nanny at Home Farm before pretending to fall in love with Gabby Thomas. And it's all because he believes Home Farm is his birthright after it was revealed that Caleb is the son of the late Frank Tate, Kim's ex-husband.
But having seemingly gone out of favour with Kim, Caleb has been working to get back in her good books and has been willing to do so at the expense of his known family in the village, the Dingles. Caleb has convinced money-strapped Moira to sell Butler's Farm to Kim after he tampered with her produce leading to a visit from health and safety.

At the end of Thursday night's episode, Caleb was seen celebrating Kim's deal with her and advanced his plans to help her expand the stud farm. Meanwhile, Caleb is doing all he can to keep Nicky on side, who he has now discovered is gay after catching him kissing his secret lover, Ally.
Caleb was upset that Nicky hadn’t told him about his sexuality before despite telling his mum but promised that he’d love Nicky no matter what. However, he told him that he still needed to marry Gabby, much to Nicky's despair as he still tries to get Caleb access to Kim's accounts.
Nicky told Caleb that he could break things off with Gabby without creating any suspicion but Caleb told him that Nicky needed to marry Gabby so that they could get her shares of the HOP, for which she has just been made owner unbeknownst to the pair, as well as Home Farm from Kim.
As they clashed again, Caleb warned: "You are not going to throw this all away because of some lad. My son… does what I tell him, no questions asked. You mess this up, family or not, I'll destroy you!"
But Emmerdale fans couldn't help but point out that Caleb and Nicky have a lot of these conversations-come-arguments in public and pondered why no one has seen them yet. @Bu71954521Tracy tweeted: "Why doesn't anyone ever see Caleb and Nicky #emmerdale."
Clare Atkinson wrote on Facebook: "Just cannot believe no one sees or hears them!!!!" Liz Newman echoed: "Can’t believe no one has seen these two in the village Celeb and Nicky together or Nicky and his boyfriend." Liz Fleming added: "How comes in a village the size of Emmerdale no-one has seen these 2 talking to/interacting with each other."
Meanwhile, others think they Nicky could turn on his dad as they slammed Caleb's behaviour. @thebigloc1 commented: "I hope Nicky can stand up to Caleb in the end and expose him." Frances Anderson said on Facebook: "Caleb has pushed Nicky now , I think he will either tell Kim or Gabby what his Dad is up to or tell Cain he is his nephew."
