Emmerdale fans slam Chloe over affair investigation and 'cringe' at Leyla

Emmerdale fans are getting tired of Chloe Harris "investigating" who Al Chapman could have cheated with after wrongly accusing numerous villagers.

Chloe, who herself is embroiled in an affair plotline, has been trying to work out who Al was planning to leave her mum Kerry for before his untimely death. So far, she has confronted Al's ex Priya Sharma as well as Chas Dingle, thinking it was Moira.

While Chas has managed to keep their affair a secret, she has started to get nervous about Chloe digging around to uncover the truth. Other villagers have also started to speculate with Bernice Blackstock saying the other woman could be Tracy Metcalfe.

Emmerdale viewers are now getting exasperated with Chloe following her many wrong guesses and have slammed her unsuccessful "detective work". Some have even jokingly predicted that she will accuse the entire village before finally figuring out it was Chas who Al was seeing.

Jayne wrote on Twitter: "Oh Chas class act anything so you don’t get found out shameless. Chloe hopefully works out it’s not Moria but Chas and destroys her. Paddy will be heartbroken but everyone will be there for him especially Mandy."

Alf joked: "In tomorrows episode: Chloe holds Brenda up against the wall and demands why she sleeping with Al."

Kayleigh fumed: "Oh my f***king days Chloe... It's not Priya, Victoria or Moira. You're talking to Chas, the one who you HAVEN'T accused yet."

Kerry said: "Chloe is blind as a bat she was talking to the mystery women."

And another fan commented: "Chloe’s such a Columbo. Just accuse any woman in the village. One’s bound to be the culprit."

Meanwhile, during tonight's episode Leyla Harding and Liam Cavanagh have called it quits. The couple decided that after everything they have been through, including Leyla's miscarriage and cocaine addiction, it would be best to part ways.

Many viewers had mixed feelings about their breakup. Some agreed it was for the best but others couldn't help but feel sorry for Leyla.

Teena Massam wrote: "Liam and Leyla are making me cringe, they’re so awkward together..."

Shaky commented: "Awkward scene between Liam and Leyla."

Ryan agreed: "Liam is so awkward around Leyla."

Mike said: "I don’t think Leyla and Liam were a good match anyway. Their personalities are so very different.. Leyla is out there and Liam is more laid back."

Sulagna commented: "Liam and Leyla are better off as friends. I liked this break up. It was all heart.

"Said a lot about their relationship. And this is a million times better than the usual cheating SL."

And another fan wrote: "My heart breaks for Leyla but it's all for the best."
