Emmerdale's Mackenzie Boyd has become embroiled in a huge secret on the ITV soap, after he cheated on Charity Dingle in a clandestine one-night stand.
Mack cheated on Charity with a mystery village resident in recent scenes on the ITV soap, with v iewers having speculated a number of theories as to who he slept with.
The twist kicked off when Mack and Charity had a huge row during last Thursday's episode, as Mack repeated to Charity that he wanted to try for a baby with her, following their recent loss after Charity suffered an ectopic pregnancy.
As Charity told him it wasn't what she wanted and that she might not fall pregnant again, Mack didn't listen and instead suggested they look into IVF – leading to a fight and Mack storming off to find comfort with someone else.
But, after he confessed all to Nate, fans are now sure that Mack actually tumbled into bed with a man – and someone who is very familiar to the village.
Fans are sure that Mack might have slept with Aaron Dingle, who is returning to the Dales as part of the 50th soap anniversary, after actor Danny Miller initially quit after his I’m A Celeb stint.
Eagle-eyed viewers realised that Mack has only ever referred to the mystery person as “they” rather than “she” and he has also always had a natural chemistry with Aaron, after the pair flirted when he was initially on the scene.
Taking to Facebook, one user theorised: “I think Mack slept with a man. Possibly Aaron. He never once said ‘she’, he said ‘they’. Just a thought.”
Another agreed: “I did notice he kept referring to the person as they… thought that was a bit odd.”
Someone else posted: “Mack is bisexual though – when he first arrived at the village he was after Aaron!” while another echoed: “There was certainly some chemistry between Mack and Aaron.”
“Yes I wondered why he kept referring to them as they…” another penned.
However, other fans were more convinced they’ve spotted enough signs that point to his mystery person being a woman, with one pointing out: “Definitely a young female based on the hands!”
A second added: “What about the woman’s manicured hand that reached over and knocked his phone out of his hand – maybe three in a bed then eh?”
“It’s going to be Tracy, that’s why they had him tell Nate. She’s due to pop back to the village soon,” another viewer said.
