Emmerdale fans have worked out how Nicky will have a 'change of heart' and turn on his father Caleb.
Nicky is the son of Caleb Milligan, and the pair are working together to try and bring down Kim Tate and claim what they think is rightly theirs. The duo are related to Frank Tate and are convinced they deserve all the money Kim is claiming is hers.
A scene on tonight's soap saw Nicky push for his wedding to Gabby to go ahead, as the pair chatted about what they had planned. Nicky was keen to press on with the wedding, whilst Gabby seemed less keen.
She admitted she was confused why he wanted to rush things so much, as she shared how she was dreaming of her wedding since she was a little kid. Gabby said she wanted everything to be perfect and not rush it, whilst he eventually relented.
However, her suspicions have been sparked and now fans are convinced she will be the one who will expose Nicky's true identity and eventually be the one who alerts Kim to what their true motive is.
"Nicky is found out around the same time he realises he really does love her... there, saved you having to go there # emmerdale," one wrote, whilst a second added: "That wiped the smirk off Nicky’s face… #emmerdale."
A third shared: "@emmerdale I wonder if Gabby will end up pregnant with Nicky’s baby. then it’ll be turning point for Nicky in that he’ll fall in love with Gabby & go against his Dad and expose the truth so he doesn’t lose contact with Gabby or his child. #Emmerdale."
Lewis previously revealed he had no idea he was coming into the soap as Caleb's secret son.
"I thought I was coming in as a love interest to Gabby, it was further down the line I got the scripts and it started to reveal itself for me. It was a nice surprise as I wasn’t pre-empting anything, I could just look at what was on the script and make that work," he said.
Will Ash also teased there were "fireworks" ahead as Caleb is linked to both the Dingles and the Tates.
"It could be a bit of a burden for them both as there's a foot in both families. It's really clever that they’ve used that device to see how much disruption these characters can cause. There’s always been that clash between the Tates and the Dingles but it will really ramp it up now! It’s really big what Caleb and Nicky are attempting to do so there are a lot of fireworks ready to go off," he said.
