Emmerdale fans have been left confused as a character has gone 'missing' in recent days.
The ITV soap has been airing some big storylines with Chas Dingle, her brother Cain Dingle and his partner Moira Dingle following the murder of Al Chapman. Kyle Winchester was the one who killed Al but Cain took the rap for it and is currently in prison.
Cain and Chas' long lost brother Caleb Dingle also appeared and has been growing close to the family, much to Cain's distaste, but he has vowed to help Kyle out of the charges with the assistance of one of his lawyer friends.
However, fans have been left puzzled by Chas' lack of scenes, despite her war with her family over what happened with Al and her split from Paddy. The pair have also been warring over parental duties with Eve.
One fan of the soap wrote: "An entire week without Chas! (since last Monday) - I bet it won't last!"
"Just incase anyone is missing chas #emmerdale," another one added, as a third shared: " #Emmerdale another Chas free episode."
It comes after Dominic Brunt - who plays Paddy - admitted he is finding his scenes quite "uncomfortable" at the moment.
"It was uncomfortable because Lucy is my friend and screaming in her face is not very nice," he said recently before admitting he never expected to be staying on the soap for so long and that everyone would be so welcoming.
"Anybody who comes there always says they didn’t expect it was going to be like this," he said of his time on the ITV soap so far, "I arrived 26 years ago expecting that I would find out all the cliques and politics, but it never arrived."
Lucy Pargeter - who plays Chas - revealed the Al and Chas storyline was one of the most hated storylines to date.
"People are really, really not liking them together and you have got the cheerleaders for Al and Chas, but you've definitely got the absolute haters for Chas, and what she is doing to Paddy and the reasons behind what she is doing with Al," she said of the backlash.
"I hate what she's doing. We were never gonna win people over to Al and Chas when Paddy was involved."
