Emmerdale viewers are predicting a brutal wedding day murder twist for Dawn Taylor and Billy Fletcher, as killer Meena Jutla makes her return.
Recent Emmerdale spoilers have confirmed Meena's return to the ITV soap will air next week, as she plots deadly revenge on love rival Dawn.
While it doesn't appear she is in or near the village, she is soon plotting her return once she sees Dawn and Billy's 'save the date' for their wedding.
Meena wanted to murder her ex Billy for choosing Dawn over her, but it seems in the coming weeks she will instead turn her attentions towards her love rival.
Spoilers images for next week reveal Meena looking as menacing as ever, as she finds Dawn's 'save the date' online and she seethes at their happy news.
Hellbent on getting her revenge, it seems she's planning on being an unwanted guest - but who is in the firing line?
Fans now believe this is a major hint that Dawn or Billy, or maybe both characters, will be brutally killed by Meena on their wedding day.
Taking to Twitter, one fan said: "She's going to take out boring dawn on her wedding day."
Another feared: "Billy or dawn better not die love them together."
A third viewer tweeted: "I have a feeling Meena could return on Dawn and Billy's wedding day to wreck revenge.
"She could kill Billy or Dawn or both before her official comeuppance later this year. I hope not though as want Billy and Dawn to have their happily ever after."
It comes shortly after bosses revealed a comeuppance was on the agenda, after Meena managed to flee the village after her killer crimes were finally exposed.
"I think it's fair to say that judgement day for Meena is coming. But whether she'll get away with murder you're going to have to wait and find out," executive producer Jane Hudson teased to The Mirror and other press.
"There are still some more twists and turns to be had in this story. Some that you probably won't see coming but I think we can all agree that Meena can pretty much do anything."
She added: "But yes, Meena's judgement day is coming. It won't play out quite as you expect, there will be a lasting effect on a lot of the villagers but I think within the next few months, Meena will get what's coming with her."
Soap writer Sharon Marshall dropped a little teaser about the upcoming plot, while remaining coy over what goes down.
She revealed that fans can expect a little twist to air during the scenes, as she teased what was ahead on This Morning on Tuesday.
Sharon told hosts Phillip Schofield and Rochelle Humes: "She is going to be coming back, there's a little more."
Teasing her return could be tied into the wedding, she added: "I can tell you judgement day is coming for her, but there might be a good little twist on it."
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
