Emmerdale fans praise 'best bit of writing in ages' as Meena Jutla returns to soap

Emmerdale's evil killer Meena Jutla has finally returned to the ITV soap tonight in a very chaotic scene.

Billy Fletcher, played by Jay Kontzle, and Dawn Taylor, played by Olivia Bromley, are set to tie the knot this week.

But murderous Meena, played by Paige Sandhu, has returned and is more unhinged than ever after learning about the wedding plans.

In worrying scenes aired tonight, Meena came out of the darkness in the church.

She was shown stood in the church, hands together, hauntingly singing Here Comes The Bride.

The actress creepily started going off on a rambling monologue where she said: "Yes, Billy Fletcher is actually waiting to say his solemn vows."

Pretending to be Dawn, she added: "I, village bike, take thee, village idiot. All that I have I give to you. In fact you're already riddled with it already."

The chaos grew as Meena shouted, telling non-existent onlookers to stop laughing at the back of the church, before she once again broke into a chilling song.

The scene ended as she said: "Do you, Meena Jutla, solemnly swear to teach them a lesson?

"Oh I do. Have your wedding, make your vows.

"Till death do you part."

Fans were more than impressed with the performance from the actress as they took to Twitter to share their thoughts.
