After a dramatic couple of months in the Emmerdale village for Leyla Harding, fans of the ITV show as predicting a new relationship for her.
Suzy Merton came to the village earlier this year and immediately had a blossoming friendship with Leyla, who has had a tough year filled with heartbreak.
Leyla and Liam Cavanagh have gone through a lot in the past year but there are some things they can’t get past. Liam, who has struggled to cope over the past few months, has been grieving his daughter Leanna who was murdered by Meena Jutla.

Serial killer Meena tried to ruin his life by making false claims and even putting in him danger afterwards. Following Leanna’s death, Leyla suffered a miscarriage before she was shot and almost met the same fate at the hands of Meena.
She sadly turned to drugs and became addicted to cocaine. Leyla suffered an overdose a few months ago but her second brush with death made her realise she needed help and she has been in rehab ever since.
Most recently, viewers have seen Liam making a pass at his ex Bernice Blackstock. He and his wife can't find a way to confide in each other.
All of which resulted in the couple deciding to end their relationship.
Although things have been hard for Leyla she's had a shoulder to cry on from newcomer Suzy Merton. In Tuesday (December, 20) Suzy announced her landlord was throwing her out of her home, which led Leyla to offer her her spare room.
The offer has led Emmerdale fans to claim 'something will happen' between the pair if they do end up living together, predicting a new relationship.
