A new character made a big impact as she arrived in the village for the first time in tonight's Emmerdale.
Charles' mum Claudette was introduced when she sat down on a table Manpreet had been sitting at and refused to move. Her and Manpreet argued - leaving Manpreet shocked when she found out a few scenes later her spot had been taken by her partner's mum.
Claudette had very strong opinions on the couple's relationship, criticising them for sharing a bed before marriage and Manpreet for things that happened earlier on in their relationship timeline. She also criticised the chilli selection in the local shop when she went out to buy food.
