Emmerdale fans have been called for a character to be axed amid another sad exit storyline.
During tonight's episode, viewers were left exasperated after Naomi Walters was once again caught in a lie. The youngster had told her dad, vicar Charles Anderson, that she was kicked out of her flatshare despite constantly cleaning for all her mates.
However, it later transpired that she had been lying and the reason why she was made homeless had more to do with the fact that she hadn't been paying rent for months. When confronted, she defensively told her dad that she wasn't paid enough at her Woolpack's job to pay rent and that she needed the money to go out and to "have a life".
She successfully convinced her dad and partner Manpreet Sharma to be allowed to move in with them, angering fans even more. Following the storyline that centred around Nicola King being attacked by Naomi's friends, viewers have had enough of Naomi and want her to once again leave the village.
@Chris1968E wrote on Twitter: "Naomi lying through her bloody teeth again and dopey Charlie the c*** vicar bails her out again."
@roscoeleebarnes demanded: "This Naomi character has to go."
@cumiskey55 commented: "Naomi is a grade A sponger. Spending all her money on a good time and believing everyone should pay her bills because she feels they owe her and then she goes and lies about it."
@thecutestthing8 fumed: "Get Naomi gone from Emmerdale I won't even be interested if she’s another serial killer get her off my screen."
And @ClaireGemm said: "Naomi is such an unlikable character. She annoys me more than Chas just now."
Meanwhile, Emmerdale bosses appear to have lined-up another exit as Marshall is set to be sent to boarding school because of his homophobic dad Colin Hamston. When Colin found the boys hanging out together recently, he dragged him away and told him to stop seeing Arthur.
During tonight's episode, Marshall revealed his dad was now sending him away and that he would never see Arthur again. It remains to be seen if Marshall will actually leave for good.
