Emmerdale fans all ask the same thing about Harriet's police job

Emmerdale fans were all asking the same question about Harriet as she encouraged Chloe to speak with officers at the police station.

Harriet entered Emmerdale as the new vicar and worked in the position for several years. But prior to coming to the Dales, Harriet worked as a police officer in Leeds.

In 2020, one of her former colleagues DI Malone arrived in Emmerdale causing several problems for her. This culminated in her and Dawn murdering Malone and burying him on the grounds of Home Farm.

While they were never caught for their crimes, Harriet severely regretted her actions and decided to leave the church. She later announced that she was rejoining the police force to become an officer.

However, for some Emmerdale viewers, her role in the police is still a surprise. Following tonight's episode where she encouraged Chloe to speak to officers about Noah, one viewer, Shaila tweeted: "When did Harriet become a copper again #emmerdale."

Caitlin said: "Harriet has certainly had a busy week, what with seemingly being one of the only policewomen in #Emmerdale."

A third said: "How do you go from being a murdering vicar to a police officer? #emmerdale."

Sophie wrote: "PC Fincher. Seriously I can’t."

And a fifth added: "#emmerdale I missed a few months... when did Harriet become pc plod again?"
