Emmerdale, Corrie & EastEnders schedule for the week as soaps move for Queen coverage

Emmerdale, Coronation Street and EastEnders have all been forced to adjust their schedules amid the Queen's passing.

The monarch died last week, and since then, all TV schedules across the UK have been up in the air. Broadcasters have turned to rolling news coverage and special documentaries to honour the incredible work of Queen Elizabeth II over her 70 year reign.

However, due to this, episodes of the BBC One and ITV soaps have been shelved or moved and now the usual episodes are out of sync, with some having been missed from their usual slot. In order to catch up, the soaps have updated their schedules and we have all the information on what you can expect in the world of soaps for the rest of the week.

Tonight (Wednesday) the soaps will go back to almost what we're used to - with all three of them airing tonight. Emmerdale will air in its usual slot at 7.30pm on ITV, whilst it will be followed by Coronation Street at 8pm. EastEnders will air later than usual, instead being broadcasted at 8.30pm on BBC One and thus clashing with Corrie rather than Emmerdale.

On Wednesday in Emmerdale, Ethan is trying to convince Naomi to come clean about the attack to the police, whilst Kim is also preparing to reconnect with Millie. Elsewhere, Al and Chas get intimate again.

In EastEnders, Phil waits at the church for his bride to arrive, unaware Alfie is on the scene and wants to win her back. Sharon, meanwhile, is desperate to remind Phil he's marrying the wrong woman. Lola is trying to help Frankie after her attack but things seem to get worse, as elsewhere, Vinny grows jealous of Finlay and his friendship with Dotty.

Over on the Cobbles, Leanne hears Toyah confessing to Spider that she intended to kill Imran. Kelly and Aadi tell Dev they are planning to elope and get married in Gretna Green whilst Eileen gets scratchy with George over his overbearing sister.

On Thursday, Emmerdale will - most likely for the first and last time in a long while - air a huge bumper three episodes in one go. It will air from 7.30pm until 7pm, with a lot of action packed in. Coronation Street will air straight after on ITV at 9pm until 10pm, whilst EastEnders will clash will Emmerdale this time around as it airs on BBC One at 7.30pm.

Many topics will be covered over the three episodes, with it all beginning as Kim finds out Hazel has been involved in a car accident. Naomi goes to the police - and fears she might be facing jail, whilst Jai is thrilled when Laurel says he can move to back in. Talking to the police, Kim is given proof Jamie is alive - but Millie, upset that she overheard about her dad, runs away. Mackenzie plans to tell Charity the truth about his affair as the guilt eats away at him, but when Charity suggests they head upstairs he changes his mind. By the third episode, Millie is still missing and Charity is thrilled as Mack gives her a big surprise in the form of a Ibiza trip.

Coronation Street will air scenes as Toyah heads to court, with Leanne begging her to be careful what she says and let the solicitor help her instead. Zeedan and Stu make preparations for Sean's birthday party, whilst Kelly is busy planning the party of all parties as she splashes out her inheritance money to mark her and Aadi's engagement.

On EastEnders, Bernie and Rocky are encouraging Dotty to be more honest as she makes a big confession to Vinny. Finlay tries to step in and make things worse. Elsewhere, at her work, Frankie pulls two of the kids up over the way they treated Amy.

For Friday's visit to the soaps, they will air as normal for the first time since the Queen's passing. Emmerdale will be in its usual slot at 7.30pm on ITV, whilst Coronation Street will air straight after at 8pm. As it is Friday, there will be no episode of EastEnders as usual.

Emmerdale will see Liam and Leyla return home as they try and get their life back to normal following her drug addiction, but things are very tense. Elsewhere, Noah is given a job as Marcus' apprentice, whilst Bernice fumes with Rishi over him ditching her for lunch.

In Coronation Street, an unhappy Gary is unimpressed when Sharon visits to celebrate Kelly's engagement. He begs with her not to tell the truth that he killed Kelly's dad. Meanwhile, in court, the verdict is given out and Spider - fresh from the revelation he is working as an undercover cop - meets with DS Swain again and vows to stick around.
