This unconventional premise leads to Bella developing a childlike perspective on life, which evolves as she experiences various aspects of adulthood.
Despite the attention surrounding the film's nudity and sexual content, Stone revealed that other scenes presented greater difficulties during filming. She highlighted a particular moment where Bella indulges in 60 Portuguese custard tarts, describing the experience as more challenging than the intimate scenes. Stone humorously noted that while the first bite of the tarts was enjoyable, consuming all 60 left her feeling queasy.
