Emma Stone and her three-time costar Sally Field share a special bond that was evident at the 96th Academy Awards. Stone, 35, expressed her admiration for Field, 77, and the other presenters who recognized each nominee before announcing the winners. Stone mentioned that working with Field, whom she shares a birthday with, three times was a remarkable experience.

Field, in turn, praised Stone's performance in 'Poor Things,' describing her character as 'unhinged, uninhibited, and completely original.' Stone, visibly moved by Field's words, embraced her backstage after winning her second Best Actress Oscar.

The duo previously appeared in the 'Amazing Spider-Man' movies and the 2018 Netflix miniseries 'Maniac.' Stone, who won her first Best Actress Oscar for 'La La Land' in 2017, emphasized the collaborative effort behind 'Poor Things,' which won four awards at the Oscars.

In her acceptance speech, Stone acknowledged director Yorgos Lanthimos's advice to focus on the team's collective achievement rather than individual accolades. She highlighted the joy of creating something greater than the sum of its parts through filmmaking.

The camaraderie between Stone and Field, along with their shared professional history, added a poignant touch to the Oscars ceremony. Stone's genuine appreciation for Field and the other women in the industry underscored the importance of mentorship and support among actresses.
