Emma Raducanu takes Porsche for a spin at Brands Hatch amid 'romantic link' to MotoGP star

Emma Raducanu took a Porsche for a ride at Brands Hatch this past weekend as she was in attendance to watch the Porsche Carrera Cup.

The adrenaline junkie has professed her love for fast cars on multiple occasions and she beamed with pride while posing for a snap behind the wheel. She also uploaded a clip of her driving the snazzy car and added the caption: “This rumble just my new ringtone…may let it ring out. @porsche #carreracup.”

While the Porsche brand ambassador fuelled her love for fast cars, it has been reported that the teen has been swapping flirty messages online with MotoGP star Fabio Quartararo. The duo have been racking up likes on each others’ Instagram pages – with Fabio leaving a lobster emoji on one of Emma’s posts and fans questioning if he was “fishing” for her affections.

While there is also speculation that the pair could have grown close to a shared love for driving high speed vehicles as Emma used to race go-karts and motorbikes when she was a child. “They’re both young, attractive and have an interest in motorsports,” a source told The Sun.

The British number one and current MotoGP leader are believed to be single with the possibility of a relationship exciting some fans, with one writing on Instagram : “are you guys a thing now?” The world number 12 was previously linked to Strictly star HRVY, with the singer claiming they “chat all the time.”

But any chance of a romance soon dissipated with the 23-year-old singer reported to be dating former Emmerdale star Mimi Slinger. While things may be looking up in Raducanu’s personal life, she continued to struggle with injury after being forced to retire from her match against Bianca Andreescu in Rome last week.

The teen may even consider withdrawing from Roland Garros at the end of the month if her back problem persists. "I am deeply disappointed with how it went. After Madrid I decided I wanted to try, but only off the court, I realised how hard and difficult it was,” she said following her Italian Open exit.

“I am inexperienced and not used to such things and I pushed my body further. Skipping the Roland Garros? Obviously I would not want to lose it but I have to make sure that my back is totally healed, I don't want to play my next match still with physical problems.

“Despite everything these weeks have been positive and I just have to continue on this path." The Brit faces a race against time to be fit for the sport’s second major of the year, which commences on May 29.
