Emma Raducanu won big last year when she beat Leylah Fernandez in the 2021 US Open final, netting a life-changing £1.8 million in prize money.
While some might splash out and buy a Ferrari to celebrate, it appears 19-year-old Emma is much more sensible and instead opted to treat herself with a £160 purchase.
Just days after the win she appeared at the Met Gala, having stuck around in New York for one of the biggest events of the fashion calendar - yet still wore a more sleek and casual look.
But maybe the spending bug has caught on now, as she played in £30,000 worth of Tiffany & Co. Pearl and Diamond Earrings when she played at Wimbledon on Monday.
What do you think about Emma's wealth? Let us know in the comments...
Last year, after producing a remarkable run to win through to the final without dropping a set, Emma capped it off with a 6-4 6-3 win over Leylah Fernandez to become the first qualifier ever to win a Grand Slam.
The 18-year-old's winnings, unsurprisingly, equate to more than her entire career earnings to date, but speaking at the time she said she wouldn't be celebrating with a lavish shopping spree.
In fact, her primary concern was replacing some lost AirPods, which went missing before her first qualifying match - the planned purchase was set to cost her about £160.
Speaking to ESPN after her final win, she said: "There’s a running joke in my team because before my first-round qualifying match I lost my AirPods and I was basically running around the changing room like three minutes before my call to go on trying to find it but I lost it.
"I was thinking to myself, 'You know what, if you win this match you can buy yourself a pair of AirPods' and that’s become the running joke!"
Despite her modest intentions, life must have changed quite a bit for Emma, who became the first British woman to capture a Grand Slam title since Virgina Wade won Wimbledon in 1977.
Just days after her win, she took to the red carpet at the Met Gala, chaired by Vogue editor-in-chief and tennis fan Anna Wintour.
Fresh off her win against Leylah Fernandez, who was also in attendance, the Brit looked amazing as she swapped the tennis court for the red carpet.
And while other stars took it upon themselves to shock the world with their extravagant designs and powerful statements, Emma decided to don a more sleek and casual look.
She posed for photographers in a floaty black-and-white number which showed off her toned physique.
Emma wore an off-the-shoulder jacket with a crop top underneath and floral skirt. The design was accentuated by an elegant midriff belt and buckle.
She also wore black ankle boots as she topped off the glamorous look.
And now the tennis sensation is back causing a stir on the court, having defeated Alison Van Uytvanck in the opening round of Wimbledon on Monday, June 27.

While her skills wowed the crowds, so did her choice of jewellery - which is estimated to be worth around £30,000.
Last September, she became an ambassador for jewellery brand Tiffany & Co - joining the likes of Beyoncé, Jay-Z, and Tracee Ellis Ross.
And now she's showing off her connection on the court, with pearl teardrop earrings set in platinum, a matching bracelet and a classic white-gold Tiffany bangle - encrusted with diamonds, of course.
Her earrings were suspected to be the Tiffany & Co. Pearl and Diamond Earrings.
While the incredible earrings are not currently available, they are retailed at a whopping £8,000.
The necklace she paired this with appears to be the £2,750 Pendant.
She also wore a classic gold bangle, which appears to be the T1 Wide Diamond Hinged Bangle.
The official Tiffany & Co. website described the jaw-dropping piece: "Wrapped around the wearer in a continuous, unbroken circle, this hinged bangle features scintillating diamonds and a strong 'T' motif at the centre.
