As a hybrid mattress, the Emma Lite has a relatively simple build comprising of two foam layers and a base layer of springs. While every budget is different, this is a great price on such a well made bed, especially for a hybrid mattress which usually command a higher price tag, due to the additional materials used. The Emma Lite is cheap enough for a guest room but with a brand quality good enough for your main bed.

There are three internal layers to the Emma Lite Mattress, making it relatively simple for a hybrid. Considering the price tag, that's to be expected, but let's breakdown exactly what's inside the Emma Lite.
We begin with a top layer of comfort foam, followed by a sturdier layer of durable base foam. Then comes the springs. They're individually pocketed and with zoned firmness at the head, neck, and lower back. A removable and washable cover finishes the bed
Emma rates the Emma Lite mattress as medium-soft – even softer than the all-foam Emma Original (which we rate highly, check out our Emma mattress review to see why). This softer feel should be best for side sleepers who need the extra cushioning at the shoulders and hips. However, thanks to the springs you should expect some bounce. If you don't love the typical memorial foam 'hug' but want softness, this could be a great compromise.
At just 22 cm deep, the Emma Lite is on the shorter side of our recommended mattress thickness – we suggest a standard mattress for an adult should be between roughly 20 cm and 30 cm. It should offer the support you need for everyday use, especially for those with a lighter build.
