Spice Girls star Emma Bunton was told to 'shut up' by a guest during her appearance on Channel 4's Sunday Brunch. The entire show had several chaotic moments which even caused 55-year-old host Tim Lovejoy to begin choking as he fell into an uncontrollable bout of hysterics and couldn't hold back his laughter, reports the Mirror.
Chef Simon Rimmer, 60, had been demonstrating how to make fish soup when he was interrupted by the coughing host, according to the Daily Record. He asked him "You alright now?," to which Tim replied, “No I’m not."
Amid everything else going on, 47-year-old Emma Bunton was also on the show to discuss her new UK tour alongside Texas star Sharleen Spiteri, who was there to chat about the band's greatest hits album. Texas are also due to perform at Glastonbury.
During the segment, Tim and Simon brought up the weather forecast for next weekend's festival as they revealed it's likely to pour down following weeks of sunshine. Sharleen grumbled she’d rather that not be the case.
But a cheery-faced Emma looked on the brighter side as she admitted she "loved to dance in the rain," which prompted a snapping response from Sharleen who told her to "shut up."
She quipped: “You enjoying dancing in the rain from the side of the stage,” hinting that she would likely have backstage passes and be under cover rather than in the quagmire with punters.
