Emily Atack looked in high spirits as she was snapped leaving a glitzy BAFTAs party on Tuesday night with the support of a male friend.
The 32-year-old TV star was a guest at the Vanity Fair pre-Bafta party in celebration of the EE Rising Star Award held at 180 Strand with a host of celebrities in attendance.
Emily was joined by 33-year-old senior TV producer Jamie Shepherd who helped her on her feet as they left the glitzy party in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
And it is perhaps no wonder the pair needed each others’ help to be able to walk forward – as Jamie shared footage of the blinding paparazzi flashes they were confronted with as they left the venue together.
Sharing footage on his Instagram Stories, Jamie wrote: “When you pop out for a green tea with @emilyatack.”
Video showed a throng of paparazzi photographers swarming around the pair with bright flashes going off in furious succession as the TV pair tried to walk down the street together.
Jamie added the sound of the hit Lady Gaga song Paparazzi as the soundtrack to the footage – which Emily herself then shared via her own Instagram Stories and adding a string of crying-with-laughter emojis.
And it seems the duo were laughing away together as the paps snapped as the resulting photos showed Emily and Jamie flashing beaming smiles as they walked arm in arm.
The night was in celebration of the BAFTA 2022 EE Rising Star Award – with Captain Marvel star Lashana Lynch, who made her acting debut in 2007, and A Quiet Place's, release din 2018, Millicent Simmonds among those nominated.
Beach Rats, released in 2017, star Harris Dickinson, West Side Story's Ariana DeBose – who was also a 2009 So You Think You Can Dance contestant – and and Let Me In actor Kodi Smit-McPhee, who has been acting since he was 10, are also nominated.
Earlier in the day, Emily had wowed fans by showing off a new hairstyle as she prepared to film an episode of Celebrity Juice and then head out partying.
She posed in the corner of a room while wearing a striking white shirt style dress with a pattered bodice and had her usual blonde hair replaced with light pink tresses.
She captioned her moment: “Peachy Keen.”
The new do was a hit with fans and followers who filled her Instagram post comments section with compliments galore – with one branding the hair “gorgeous” and another branding it “absolutely stunning.”
But alas, all was not what it seemed – as the hair was fake.
Taking to Instagram Stories late in the night, Emily made efforts to clear up any confusion about her new hair as she recorded a video of herself explaining her new style – although she accidentally made the recording with her microphone switched off.
She shared the video regardless and added a written caption, stating: “Sound din’t work but this is me explaining my wig situation on juice tonight.
“Had a wig on. The end.”
