Emergency services in East Lothian have raced to an ongoing incident on a busy road heading into the city.
The incident took place around 8pm on Friday, June 30 on the A1 going towards Edinburgh and a number of emergency service crews were at the scene.

There were delays of about an hour this evening and both lanes were closed but have reportedly now reopened.
Images from the scene show several police cars on the busy road behind queues of traffic. It is unclear if anyone has been injured in the incident.

An eyewitness told Edinburgh Live: "We have been stuck here for about 30/45 minutes just down from Tranent heading to Edinburgh.
"Both sides of the carriageway were closed the Eastbound carriage opened first but now both sides have now opened."
The Scottish Ambulance Service and Police Scotland have been contacted for comment.
