Elon Musk Becomes Biggest 2026 Midterm Donor: $276 Million Have Gone to Republican Groups.

Elon Musk has poured more than $276 million into Republican political organizations since July, making the Tesla and SpaceX CEO the largest known donor of the 2026 midterm elections, according to new figures.

The extraordinary spending spree brings Musk's known federal political contributions for the 2025-2026 election cycle to approximately $366 million, exceeding the roughly $290 million he spent during the 2024 presidential race that returned Donald Trump to the White House.
