Elizabeth line compensation payouts soar in delay misery for London commuters

Train operators including the Elizabeth line and London Overground have seen compensation payouts for delays spiral, official figures reveal.

They show there were 3.8 million delay compensation claims closed between April 1 to July 25 this year, according to the Office of Rail and Road.
