The Piccadilly and Victoria lines have been severely disrupted and major stations including King’s Cross and Oxford Circus closed after power issues on Monday morning.
As of 8.30am, the Underground stations closed were: East Acton, Hampstead, Highbury and Islington, King’s Cross St Pancras, Mornington Crescent, Oxford Circus, Russell Square, and Warren Street.
TfL has said this was due to electrical faults at some stations.
Transport for London said power supply problems have also led to the Piccadilly’s issues - with no service between Hyde Park Corner and Cockfosters.

Passengers are advised to check before they travel.
As of 10.30am the Piccadilly line was still running with severe delays. The Victoria and Northern lines were running a good service.
Kings Cross station is open to all lines other than the Victoria line, and Oxford Circus is closed while engineers resolve an issue with the escalators.
A TfL spokesperson said: “We apologise to Piccadilly, Northern and Victoria line customers for the disruption to their journeys this morning. This was caused by a temporary loss of power at a number of locations across the network. Engineers are working as quickly as possible to restore a normal service.”
