NEW DELHI: England, led by Chelsea star Lauren James, delivered a dominant performance, defeating China 6-1 in Adelaide on Tuesday to secure their place in the Women's World Cup last 16.

It was England's biggest-ever victory in the World Cup and earned them the top spot in Group D. Meanwhile, China faced their earliest exit from the tournament.
