The body of an elderly Edinburgh woman has been found at her home.
Police received reports of the 87-year-old's death in the early hours of Sunday, January 22 and raced to her home in the Lauriston area of the city.

A concerned neighbour alerted police to the incident. There are reportedly no suspicious circumstances around her death and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were made aware of the sudden death of an 86-year-old woman in the Easter Park Drive area of Edinburgh around 4.50am on Sunday, 22 January, 2023."
“The death is not being treated as suspicious. A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
