Ekaterina Alexandrova Advances To Monterrey Open Quarterfinals After Defeating Zarazua

In Monterrey, Mexico, the Monterrey Open witnessed some exciting matches as the tournament progressed to the quarterfinal stage. Third-seeded Ekaterina Alexandrova of Russia displayed her prowess on the court by defeating local favorite Renata Zarazua with a score of 6-3, 6-4.

Alexandrova's victory set up a quarterfinal clash with seventh-seeded Yue Yuan of China, who secured her spot by defeating Petra Martic 6-4, 6-1 in the WTA 500 hard court event at Sonoma Club.
