News that iconic Edinburgh club Atik is to close its doors for good this weekend came as a shock to many.
Under its various guises, the top nightspot has become a rite of passage for generations of revellers heading into town. So it comes as little surprise then that one fan of the venue could not let it pass into history without one last personal goodbye.
She posted a hilarious short clip on TikTok of her visit to the West Tollcross institution - before it shuts for good after their last party this Saturday, January 21.

In the video, Tiktok user Rickle Pick stands outside the iconic club and blows it a last kiss in a warm farewell. The video was captioned: "You have a place in both history and my heart. A true right of passage all Edinburgh minors should experience."
Touched by the heartfelt tribute, the official account for Atik club commented, saying: "I'm not crying…" - adding an emoji of a face with tears flooding.
Her touching tribute has now gone viral, attracting more than 45,000 views and thousands of likes.
Other TikTok users were quick to react with comments, reflecting on the great times they had at the venue. A social media user with a nametag @gregormitchell said, "cheesy room will be severely missed," while @teigansuthx commented, "first club I ever went to".
It was reported by Edinburgh Live on Tuesday, January 17, that the club, owned by REKOM UK, was unable to agree on a new lease with the landlord.
Throughout their active years, the Tollcross nightclub has been known by different generations as Cav, Clouds, Outer Limits, Bermuda Triangle and Lava & Ignite.
