After weeks of scorching temperatures and sunny days, Edinburgh is set to experience thundery showers.
BBC Weather and Met Office have forecasted that things will soon take a turn as rain and low pressure will bring with it stormy conditions.
This comes after much of Scotland has been enjoying a heatwave over the last couple of weeks with highs of 29C in the west and 25C in Edinburgh.

The skies are noticeably different in the capital on Saturday (June 17), as clouds move in. On Sunday, thundery showers are forecasted marking a turn in the weather.
From Sunday and through next week rain is expected to pour onto the capital.
BBC Weather's outlook for Sunday states: "Tomorrow, showers will continue in the southwest with some affecting the north-west in the afternoon, thundery in places. Drier towards the east, with sunny spells and variable cloud in places."
This comes after a yellow warning for thunderstorms were forecasted for Glasgow on Friday and for parts of Wales and England.
Met Office Deputy Chief Meteorologist Chris Almond said: “Over the weekend we’ll be transitioning to a more unsettled regime for the UK, though temperatures will remain high and it’ll feel very humid for many.
“Heavy showers and thunderstorms are likely to become more frequent and impactful through the weekend, with the potential for associated hail, lightning and some gusty winds. The risk of thundery downpours initially starts in the far west on Friday afternoon, but spreads more widely through the weekend, resulting in the warning the Met Office has issued.
“There’s an ongoing likelihood of further warnings being issued and revised in the coming days, so keep an eye on the forecast for the latest outlook.”
