Edinburgh's Union Canal is set to be brought to life this summer with a series of rum cruises down the water.
Summerhall Drinks Lab have announced they will be welcoming guests aboard their impressive canal boat for a series of tastings as you float down past some of the city's best scenery.
The two-hour trip will see groups enjoy the view as well as sample a range of four different rums from around the world as they learn about their origins.

Hosted by some top rum experts, each sample will be paired with a a mixed drink or cocktail before guiding you through the flavours and stories behind each brand.
Every cruise will also feature a different combination of rums and cocktails created by the Drinks Lab team, making for a completely unique experience for each cruise.

Catering to everything, staff will also have a selection of Considerit doughnut on board which will be brought out with the final drink for those feeling a little peckish.
Starting at Fountainbridge, the boat will make its way down to Slateford before turning around and heading back towards the city centre.
The cruises will run on Friday July 15 and on Friday August 19 with a limited number of tickets available and prices starting at £40. There is an option to add on canapes for an extra £5, catering for all dietary requirements.
