Hundreds of Edinburgh music lovers heading to TRNSMT festival next month could be left stranded in Glasgow due to ongoing rail strikes.
The three-day festival is set to attract thousands of people from all over Scotland, with the likes of Paolo Nutini and West Lothian star Lewis Capaldi featuring in the line-up. Taking place on July 8 to July 10, a number of trains should have been running between Edinburgh and Glasgow to allow ticket holders to travel there and back easily.
However, warnings have now been issued that those coming from Edinburgh may need to leave early or make alternate arrangements if they need to get a train home to the capital.
