Edinburgh to welcome 'Dancing Queen' ABBA themed boozy brunch this winter

An Abba themed brunch filled with boozy treats and music inspired treats is set to come to the capital over a variety of dates.

The Brunch Squad have organised a Dancing Queen brunch at Revolutions on Chambers Street. A number of dates have been set for the event in the capital with the first falling on November 20.

Those looking for a Christmas event to enjoy with the whole gang will also be able to attend the brunch on December 11. Dates in 2023 have also been announced for March 5, June 4, July 23, September 17 and December 3.

The brunch will celebrate all things ABBA and those in attendance will have the chance to dance, jive and have the times of their life. The first half of the event will see guests given a variety of drinks as well as a selection of a brunch meal.

Some of the options available are the Brunch Grill which looks like a traditional fry up; Blueberry, Banana & Nutella Pancakes; Avocado Brunch and a Gluten Free Brunch Grill.

A Mamma Mia quiz will also be held during the first half of the party and the knowledgeable winners will win a prize. The second half will see a performance from an ABBA tribute band who will play all the bands classics.

Singing along and fancy dress is not only allowed but avidly encouraged by the organisers. On the event they said: “Calling all DANCING QUEENS DIVAS!

“Join us on November 20, or get in early for our Christmas show on December 11 at Revolutions on Chambers Street. The Brunch Squad presents The Dancing Queen Brunch as we celebrate all things ABBA!

“We are so excited to be bringing our Dancing Queen themed brunch to Edinburgh as yet again we give you, the fans, the chance to dance, jive and have the time of your lives. During the first half of your Brunch, you will be given the most delicious beverages of your dreams whilst also tucking into some scran.

“You will then test your knowledge in the Mamma Mia quiz of all quizzes, with a cheeky little prize for the winners.

“During the second half you will find yourselves singing your hearts out to all the classic Dancing Queen Hits which will be sang by the most amazing ABBA TASTIC tribute band! Fancy dress is highly encouraged, so get your DONNA dungarees on, dig out your flares, adjust those wigs, grab your feather boas as the 'BEST' dressed will win a prize!”

There is also a non-alcoholic option and anyone wishing to purchase tickets for the event can do so here.
