The capital will be the first to trial the new quirky virtual sport after success from indoor escape rooms.
Thrill-seekers can enjoy a new twist to the popular growing sport from Game of Throwing - an axe-throwing company that has collaborated with global entertainment firm, Champ Throw.
Champ Throw adds an unconventional digital element to the popular sport. Using the traditional method of axe throwing, players will throw an axe to a wooden target that offers high tech feedback.

Players will interact with futuristic digital targets while still keeping the traditional methods of axe throwing.
For those looking for a challenge, multiple game types can be chosen with various levels. Mobile phones can be synced to the game to keep track of ability and scores.
Edinburgh local, Daniel Hill, is the founder of Game of Throwing. He said: “Our Escape story began in Edinburgh, which is why we’re so delighted to be bringing urban axe throwing to the city.

The new venue is located on Morrison Street and shares a home with Edinburgh's main indoor escape room.
