A teenager has been rushed to hospital after being stabbed by a group of electric bikers in the city centre.
Police are saying the attack was unprovoked and another teenager was also treated at the scene for an injury sustained while trying to escape the gang.
The incident occurred during the early hours of Wednesday morning, October 19, on Leith Walk and left the 19-year-old with a stab wound to his leg before being taken to the Royal Infirmary.

The other male, an 18-year-old was treated at the scene for a similar leg injury. Officers say the attack was unprovoked and have launched an appeal to help trace the group responsible.
The group is said to have launched the attack shortly after 1am in the Albert Place area of Leith Walk, with the biker gang described as all white males, dressed in balaclavas, gloves, rucksacks and dark clothing.
Detective Sergeant Steven Dick said: “This was a completely unprovoked incident and we are carrying out extensive enquiries to identify the group of three males on motorbikes involved.
“Our enquiries so far suggest they have been riding their motorbikes a short time earlier in the city centre so I would urge anyone who believes they may have seen them to get in touch.
“Anyone else with any information can get in touch with us by calling 101, quoting reference 174 of 19 October, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
