Edinburgh's latest Covid statistics as Omicron restrictions lift from tomorrow

New Covid hotspots in Edinburgh have been identified as Scotland eases Omicron restrictions from tomorrow, as announced by First Minister Nicola Sturgeon in her speech on Tuesday.

The First Minister spoke in the Scottish Parliament on Tuesday (January 18) where she confirmed a number of measures brought in to tackle the omicron wave will be removed.

Nicola Sturgeon said this week that Scotland had 'turned a corner' in the virus fightback, when addressing the Scottish Parliament on Tuesday.
