Residents and visitors to Edinburgh have been told to plan ahead if they wish to attend the funeral service of Her Majesty The Queen at Holyrood Park on Monday September 19.
The funeral will be beamed onto a large screen at the public park which lies in front of the Palace of Holyroodhouse.
The screening will take place from 08:00am until 5:00pm and will show the BBC’s coverage of the historic event.

The Queen, who passed away on Thursday 8, will see her funeral service take place at Westminster Abbey in the heart of London.
The event will take place following a period lasting almost a week where members of the public have been able to pay their respects to the Queen in both Edinburgh and London.
Entry to the event in Holyrood Park will be free of charge and unticketed with all members of the public invited to pay their respects.
But Edinburgh City Council who are responsible for organising the event have warned those in attendance to plan ahead.
On their website, they said: “As the event is outdoors, dress for the weather and bring plenty of water.
“Toilets will be available however there will be no seats, so we suggest you bring blankets or chairs.
“We'll have extra litter bins and please note that BBQs will not be allowed.
“Queen’s Drive will be closed to general traffic. Disabled parking will be available in Broad Pavement car park on a first come, first served basis.
“There will be no change to parking restrictions or parking charges.
“Lothian Buses will be running a Sunday service on Monday. Edinburgh Trams will be operating as normal.
“But do check Lothian Buses and Edinburgh Trams to stay informed about their services on the day of the funeral.”
The council have also informed members of the ‘National Moment of Reflection’ that will see a one-minute silence take place at 8:00pm on Sunday September 18 across the UK.
On this, they said: “Join a National Moment of Reflection to mourn the passing of Her Majesty The Queen and reflect on her life and legacy.
“You might like to mark the one-minute silence privately at home, with friends and family, out on doorsteps or the street with neighbours, or at locally arranged community events and vigils.
“Details of larger-scale public events to be held across the country will be updated regularly by the Cabinet Office.”
