A concerned Edinburgh dog owner has taken to social media to plead with residents not throw litter on the ground after her puppy ingested some marijuana which made her very unwell.
The owner, who wishes to remain anonymous, has shared her story in order to raise awareness of what can happen when a young puppy eats a small amount of weed that has been discarded on the floor. The incident took place at St Margaret’s Park in Corstorphine last weekend (October 15).
They said that puppies use their mouths to explore the world and at only 15 weeks old, their pup did not know any better. But the owner hit out at inconsiderate park users who leave litter strewn across the popular dog walking spot.
