Edinburgh property: The capital's most expensive streets that are home to millionaires

It's no secret that Edinburgh is home to some pricey properties, with the market becoming more expensive almost daily.

From historical homes in the Old Town, to huge Georgian townhouses in the New Town, there are some areas where the cost of a home will definitely make your eyes water.

Although still having a number of areas where homes are much more affordable, the city's most expensive streets will cost you an arm and a leg if you're looking to move in.

In fact, there are well over 20 streets in Edinburgh where the average cost of buying a property will set you back over £1 million, with a number costing a lot more than that.

So where are the 10 most expensive streets?

Using a new tool by Property Solvers, Edinburgh Live has found the streets where the highest-priced homes are located.

10. Saxe Coburg Place (EH3)

Coming in at number 10 is Saxe Coburg Place in Stockbridge, where the average price of a property is a whopping £1.463 million.

9. Heriot Row (EH3)

Not too far away is Heriot Row, sitting across from Queen Street Gardens the average property price here is £1.465 million.

8. Barnton Loan (EH4)

Slightly further out of the city is Barnton Loan, with the area known for its large houses and sprawling gardens. Barnton Loan was found to be the priciest in the area, with an average home here costing £1.525 million.

7. Coates Gardens (EH12)

Just around the corner from Haymarket is Coates Gardens, with the grand townhouses costing an average of £1.566 million.

6. Danube Street (EH4)

In at number six is Danube Street, with the road near Stockbridge costing an average of £1.569 million to set up camp on.

5. Ann Street (EH4)

Quite literally the next street over is Ann Street, with the beautiful terraced rows coming in at an average of £1.643 million.

4. Regent Terrace ( EH7)

Just round the corner from Calton Hill, a home on Regent Terrace could set you back £1.676 million.

3. Napier Road (EH10)

Now for the final three, in with bronze it's Napier Road, with the average property costing £1.705 million.

2. Succoth Avenue (EH12)

Succoth Avenue near Ravelston Dykes has come in as the second most expensive street, with the stunning homes coming in on average at £1.847 million.

1. Dick Place (EH9)

Finally in first place is Dick Place, with the plush street in The Grange home to some beautiful stand alone homes.

On average, the price of a property here sits at around £2.06 million.
