A stunning 19th-century mansion packed with original features designed by an eminent Scottish architect has hit the market in Edinburgh.
The six-bedroom property on Oswald Road in Blackford was one of three built in the 1890’s by John Kinross - who would later go on to lead restorations at some of Scotland’s most historic buildings.
The home, which has been rendered in a 17th-century architectural style, comes complete with original cast-iron radiators, ornate cornicing featuring depictions of a thistle and a servant ‘call bell’ system connecting every room.
