When it comes to property, we may seem bias in saying that Edinburgh is home to some of the most beautiful but as it turns out, we're not the only ones who think so.
According to Pinterest, our capital is among one of 15 cities in the United Kingdom that have the "most beautiful homes". And in even better news, we are in the top five thanks to our stunning properties.
The app, dedicated to all things food, beauty, home and more, have said that one in three travellers turn to social media for holiday inspiration with the app being something that they also turn to.

Intrigued by a 50 per cent surge in searches for “most beautiful city in UK” over the past three months, Alan Boswell Landlord Building Insurance utilised Pinterest to uncover the British cities with the most picturesque homes. To do this, the experts analysed the total number of home-related pins and boards to assign a final "aesthetic home score" for each city.
Research revealed that it wasn't just the capital but another Scottish city too among top 10 UK cities with the most picturesque homes with Glasgow ranking as number 10.
Their research, which dates three months back from November 22, also says that timeless Georgian apartments with wrought iron balconies and picture-perfect neoclassical mansions have earned the Scottish capital over five thousand pins.
Some of the properties that we have covered on Edinburgh Live clearly back this up with one penthouse with stellar sea views recently hitting market for £230,000.
Not only that but another property, which is being described as one of Scotland’s most incredible living room views, has hit the market and has already attracted international attention.
The stunning four-bedroom home is nestled on the bank of the River Forth, just metres away from one of Scotland’s most iconic landmarks- the Forth Bridge and the new owners could look out at Edinburgh across the water.
