It was a busy morning for road policing units in the capital as two stolen vehicles were recovered in different locations.
Livingston Road Police were able to track down a stolen Audi RSQ3 on Winton Loan in the south of the city. The vehicle had been reported missing from the Perth area on the evening of Saturday October 22.
However officers were able to find the car and say that enquiries into the incident are ongoing. They shared in a tweet: “#LivingstonRP traced this stolen Audi RSQ3 on Winton Loan, Edinburgh.

“The Audi had been stolen last night in the Perth area.
“The Audi was recovered and enquiries are ongoing in respect of the theft.”
Another vehicle was recovered by the National Motorcycle Unit on Blinkbonny Terrace which is situated opposite Craigleith Retail Park in Edinburgh. The Skoda had been reported as stolen on Thursday 20 October from another city location.
Officers are understood to be carrying out further enquiries regarding the brazen theft.
They shared on Twitter: “The #NationalMotorcycleUnit recovered a stolen Skoda on Blinkbonny Terrace, Edinburgh.
“The Skoda was reported stolen on the 20th October 2022 within the Edinburgh area.
“Skoda recovered and enquiries on going in respect of the theft.”
