Edinburgh emergency services have raced to the city centre following reports of a fire inside a property on Thursday morning.
Grove Street, Fountainbridge, is currently closed due to the blaze inside a dwelling on Upper Grove Place, with police and fire crews rushing to the scene shortly before 9am.
Pictures from the scene show the entrance to the street coned off with multiple police cars parked on the street. The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service mobilised four appliances and one height appliance to tackle the blaze.

It is currently unclear whether there are any injuries as a result of the fire, although a heavy emergency service presence remains at the scene to ensure the building is secure.
A spokesperson for the SFRS said: "We were alerted to a fire inside a dwelling on Upper Grove Place at 8:52 on Thursday, September 8.
"Operations control mobilised four appliances and one height appliance and extinguished the fire. Three appliances and one height appliance remain at the scene."
One concerned eye witness reported seeing a heavy emergency service presence on Grove Street and said that police had closed off the road.
