The first locations for the BBC’s Coronation Concert ‘Lighting up the Nation’ on Sunday have been revealed - and Edinburgh is among them.
The 'Lighting up the Nation' live sequence will see the nation unite in celebration, as the United Kingdom comes to life like never before with projections, lasers, drone displays and illuminations. The concert feature famous landmarks, areas of natural beauty, and street parties connecting through a beautifully choreographed display of light.
Ten locations around the UK will be included in the event, such as Blackpool, Sheffield, Cardiff, Newcastle and Gateshead, Cornwall, and Belfast. In Edinburgh, a public event will take place in Princes Street Gardens.
