An Edinburgh mum sent threats to her former partner after learning through a TikTok live broadcast that he'd found a new girlfriend. Jemma Moss was upset to discover her ex Shaun Fraser was seeing another woman just weeks after they split up, a court heard.
The 25-year-old sent Shaun messages over social media and prompted a relative to send him a threat about damaging his car. Moss appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Wednesday and admitted sending the repeated messages, causing Shaun fear or alarm.
Fiscal depute Claire Green said Moss and Shaun had been together since January 2016 before breaking up after six years. Ms Green said Moss learned her ex was in an another relationship through a live broadcast put on social media platform TikTok, reports the Daily Record.

The court heard Moss began sending him "abusive messages" and Shaun asked her to stop on "multiple occasions". Ms Green said Shaun continued to receive messages, including one from a relative of Moss stating he "needs to watch his car and keep his CCTV on".
The prosecutor said Shaun believed this message was sent under the "influence of the accused".
Defence agent Simon Collins said Shaun had "simply left" his client and their two children without saying anything about his decision. Mr Collins said Moss had not seen her ex for around five weeks when she "found out he was seeing someone else".
The solicitor said Moss had made "empty threats" in the "heat of a particularly difficult moment".
Moss admitted sending the messages between March 25 and 28 this year. Sheriff Thomas Welsh QC deferred sentence on Moss, of the city's Sighthill area, for six months for her to be of good behaviour.
