Police Scotland have said that a male had been knocked down by a cyclist on a busy road and taken to hospital to be treated for their injuries.
Officers say that the road traffic collision took place at around 1:15pm on Friday December 30 in the Morningside Road area of Edinburgh.
The road was closed by police responding to the incident but they say it was reopened to traffic from 2:00pm on the same afternoon.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 1.15pm on Friday, 30 December, 2022, police were called to the Morningside Road area of Edinburgh, following a report of a male pedestrian being knocked down by a cyclist.
“The man was taken to hospital for treatment and the road reopened at 2:00pm.”
