A 22-year-old man has been rushed to hospital after being attacked near a park in Edinburgh during the early hours of Friday morning.
Cops rushed to the scene on Moredun Park Road, Craigour, around 5.50am on Friday, June 17.
The victim was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh to be treated and officers confirmed an investigation is underway.

Locals reported seeing multiple officers in the area at around 9am on Friday morning, including Fernieside Drive and Craigour Drive, with several paths taped off, despite the Moredun Park Road remaining open.
The incident occurred near the Fernieside Recreation Ground, with officers spotted patrolling near the area ensuring public safety.
Although on local reported a blade was involved, police are yet to confirm details of the attack.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were made aware of a 22-year-old man with injuries as a the result of an assault at Moredun Park Road in Edinburgh around 5.50am on Friday, 17 June.
“The man has been taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for treatment and enquiries into the incident are ongoing.”
