Edinburgh M8 crash at busy junction triggers huge rush hour tailbacks for drivers

M8 Edinburgh Traffic Scotland

Huge tailbacks on the M8 have been triggered by a collision on Wednesday morning, with emergency services in attendance.

Just after 8am, Traffic Scotland said junction 2 on the M8 westbound was restricted, with police in attendance. They added: "Traffic is building on approach, delay from M9 21 minutes above normal.

"Delay from M8 approximately five minutes."
