Edinburgh locals have been left in stitches at a 'concerning' coat stand spotted in a Meadows charity shop this week.
The "cursed" item appeared in the Bethany Shop at Summerhall on Monday with a whopping £45 price tag marked down from £75.
Photos show the unique and furry item which is a traditionally structured coat stand with four hooks but instead of the usual simple design the item is fur covered and has a bedraggled dog's head attached to the top.

The hilarious post gathered hundreds of likes and comments from bewildered charity shop fans as many made jokes about it being the perfect present for their pals.
One bemused person claimed it is for hanging all of your dog's coats, bandanas and collars, leads but warned if you have a cat they might use it as a scratching post.
And another joked it was the worst taxidermy they had ever seen.
