Edinburgh locals baffled as chocolate café 'permanently closes' months after opening

Locals in Edinburgh have been left baffled after a plush chocolate café and factory in Stockbridge appears to have permanently closed, just months after its highly-anticipated opening.

Ocelot Chocolate, on Raeburn Place, recently closed its doors having only opened at the end of March 2022. The company's Instagram account has been removed and according to Google, the business is "permanently closed."

The business went into liquidation just one week ago, according to papers lodged at Companies House. The suave café, with interior representing a huge wooden kitchen, has seemingly ceased trading after just four months in the busy Edinburgh area.
