A controversial Edinburgh Fringe performance will depict the moment Ghislaine Maxwell sat in her jail cell awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges related to her former boyfriend Jeffrey Epstein.

Croatian-American performer Kristin Winters said her one-woman show will frame the 60-year-old as “trapped in a prison of psychological abuse” by the disgraced paedophile financier.

Maxwell, who has been behind bars since her arrest in July 2020, was convicted in December of grooming and trafficking underage girls.
